Book Club
Once a month the library hosts an adult book club. Members discuss their current reads and enjoy refreshments. New members are always welcome!
Friends of the Price James Library
This organization sponsors library functions such as books signings, Olive Ashurst Day, and various community oriented programs. New members are always welcome!
Chess Club
The library hosts a children's chess club every Tuesday evening from 5:30 pm-6:30 pm. This club is lead by a local community member. Beginners to advanced players are welcome to join!
Olive Ashurst Day
Olive Ashurst was the patron of the library. She donated the building and grounds to become a library in her late father's name.

Olive Ashurst day celebrates her generous donation. The 2019 celebration will be held on September 22nd. It will feature food, games, prizes, raffles, storytelling and family fun! All proceeds fund library operations.

Due to inclement weather, Olive Ashurst Day was canceled. The raffle and silent auction will still go on
until October 16th. Please stop by the library to purchase raffle tickets and bid on the silent auction items. We will draw winners for raffle then and announce the winners of the silent auction.
Recent Book Signing
Wednesday, July 10th, Price James Library hosted a book signing for Jeremy Amick. Included in the pictures are Charles Bestgen, who was featured in the book along with Mr. Shipley's brother, David. Also included are Mary McIntyre, Kelley Gerling, as well as Travis and Brock LePage.
