About Us
The Price James Memorial Library was founded in 1981 and services the surrounding communities in Moniteau County, MO. The library has served four rural school districts, and the local daycares since 1997. We provide books, ebooks, audiobooks, videos, public access computers with WiFi for research and learning, as well as an environment for tutoring and community meetings. The library hosts a weekly chess night for local youth, led by a community volunteer. We offer a summer reading program that includes interactive reading and learning for students of all ages, as well as book clubs for adults. In addition to regular library operations, we provide interlibrary loans and outreach for two senior centers and an assisted living facility in the area.
